About the Victor Pinchuk Foundation

For more than ten years Victor Pinchuk has been developing and supporting a number of philanthropic projects. Many of them were started off in his home town of Dnipropetrovsík and subsequently extended over the country. In 2006, he consolidated these projects under the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in order to create a more coherent, professional, and accountable approach.

†The Foundation acts both as a granting and operating entity. It creates and supports projects that contribute to the development of Ukraine. The following six fields of activity, and their associated projects, have been selected by the Foundation because of their strategic importance to the future of the country: Healthcare, Education, Culture, Rule of Law, International Development, and Local Communities.


Cradles of Hope
We are building a network of advanced neonatal centers all over Ukraine.
The Foundation not only supplies a high-end medical equipment but also conducting training sessions and seminars to the personnel of the Centres in new nursing technologies.
We are supporting the work of the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative in Ukraine and its collaboration with the Elena Franchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation.


We are developing the first national stipend program in Ukraine to select the nationís most talented students and provide them with financial support to continue their education. We offer them opportunities to network, to expand their vision of the world, and to better serve their country.

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE)
Established by Economic Education and Research Consortium (EERC) and by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation The Kyiv School of Economics offers an internationally recognized two-year, full time English language Masterís Program. The program is taught by international and Western-trained Ukrainian faculty with a strong research background.
Aspen Ukraine
We have launched a cooperative program with the Aspen Institute (Colorado, USA) to use its cutting-edge experience and expertise to help Ukrainian leaders to better serve their communities and country.


Opened in September 2006, in Kyiv, the PinchukArtCentre is the first large scale contemporary art centre in Ukraine dedicated to fostering artistic education, creativity, and appreciation. It features Ukrainian and international art.
"Spell Your Name"
This documentary film focuses on the the Holocaust in Ukraine. †Steven Spielberg and Mr. Pinchuk are†co-executive producers with the USC Shoah Foundation Institute.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation is supporting the promotion of the film in Ukraine and worldwide, as well as the development of a companion educational guide for teachers.
The Four Seasons Orchestra
Based in Dnipropetrovsík, this privately-financed chamber orchestra is the only one of its kind in Ukraine. The group records and performs in Ukraine and abroad..

Rule of Law

Legal Clinic Ė Legal Aid
In cooperation with the Open Society Institute of George Soros, we support two programs dedicated to providing free legal consultation to the general population, and free legal assistance in court cases for those who cannot afford attorneys.

International Development

YES Ė Yalta European Strategy
Yalta European Strategy (YES) is an independent organization that brings together high-level participants in Ukraine and internationally: policy-makers, business leaders, thinkers, researchers and journalists in order to facilitate rapprochement of Ukraine and EU. The annual YES summits in Yalta have become the leading informal high-level forum focused on discussing and development of political recommendations.
"The New Frontiers of Europe"
We are supporting the Brookings Institution research program that analyzes the challenges of the current situation in Europe and provides insights to experts and policy makers.††

Local Communities

We are supporting many charitable projects in Dnipropetrovsík and within the Jewish community nationwide.
